Havasi - Symphonic

Sok esemény van, amire az ember azt mondja: Ezt látni kell! Azt hiszem, túlzás nélkül állíthatom, hogy Havasi Balázs 2012. december 9-i, Arénában tartandó koncertshow-ja ilyen.

És azt is túlzás nélkül állíthatom, hogy Havasi Balázs, zeneszerző és zongorista a magyar zenei élet egyik legnagyobb ma élő alakja. De talán nem is csak a ma élőket kellene említeni :)

There are a lot of "must see" events in the world. I think it is not an overstatement if I say the Balázs Havasi' Show in the Arena, on 9th of December, 2012 is this kind of event. And it is unexagerrated opinion, too, when I say Balázs Havasi, a composer and pianist is one of the greatest in the Hungarian music world in these days. Maybe not only in these days :)

A természet ereje - Power of nature

Az emberiség sok mindent tett az idők folyamán, hogy a maga javára fordítsa a természet erejét. Sajnos sokszor előfordul, hogy kihasználjuk saját Földünket, és folyamatosan szennyezzük az élőhelyünket, és ez nem jó.

Sok mindenre hatást tudunk gyakorolni, de van, mikor az emberiség tehetetlen, mert nem képes a pusztító erejű szélnek, víznek ellenállni. Én nem értek egyet azzal a véleménnyel, hogy a természet ilyenkor megfizet a rajta esett sérelmekért. Ez nonszensz, egyszerűen csak megmutatja az erejét, ami ellen nem mindig tudunk hatékonyan védekezni.

Most, a Sandy hurrikán tombolását látva megint tanúi lehettünk a természet végtelen erejének, és tanúi lehettünk az emberek csodálatraméltó helytállásának, amivel viselték a megpróbáltatásokat, és amivel felvették a harcot a hihetetlen erővel szemben.

Nagyon sajnálom az áldozatokat és családjukat, és sok erőt, kitartást kívánok az amerikai kontinens népének a helyreállítási munkákhoz.

Humankind has been doing so much to use the power of nature for the good of people. Unfortunately it happens when we make use of the Earth's service and it is not good.

We can have effect on a lot of thing but sometimes we are helpless, because we can't buck againts the force of the wind or water.

I don't agree with those kind of opinions that the nature pays for its harm when disaster happens. It's nonsense. Simply it shows its force and we can't protect ourselves againts that.

Now seeing the rampage of the hurricane Sandy  we can witness the endless power of the nature and can also see the admirable effort of the people to bear the tale of woes when they fight againts the unbelievable force.

My heart goes out to the victims and their family, and I wish strength and all the best to the people of the American continent in the reconstruction.

Plácido Domingo és Josh Groban

Nem hiszem, hogy lenne olyan zenekedvelő, aki ne ismerné Plácido Domingo nevét. És remélem, hogy nincs olyan, aki ne hallott volna Josh Groban-ről :)

A világhírű operaénekes, Plácido, kilépve az opera világából, a könnyedebb műfajban készített duett albumot, amin Katherine Jenkins, Susan Boyle, Zaz, Harry Connick Jr.,  Chris Botti és ifj. Plácido Domingo mellett Josh-sal is énekel.

A Sous le ciel de Paris című, keringőre csábító dalt korábban olyan nagyságok énekelték, mint Edith Piaf, Mireille Matthieu, vagy Yves Montand. A 71 éves spanyol tenor és a 31 éves amerikai bariton hangja elképesztő módon harmonizál és csodásan cseng össze a francia dalban. Szenzációs, magával ragadó duettet alkottak ők ketten, hasonlóan korábbi, olasz nyelvű közös felvételükhöz, a La tua Semplicitá-hoz, ami a néhai II. János Pál pápa verseiből készült dalokat tartalmazó Domingo albumon kapott helyet.

I think there is no such a musiclover who doesn't know Plácido Domingo's name. And I hope there are no people who have never heard of Josh Groban :)

Worldfamous opera singer, Plácido stepped out of the opera world and released a duet album in the easy listening genre, whereon he sings with Katherine Jenkins, Susan Boyle, Zaz, Harry Connick Jr., Chris Botti, Plácido Domingo Jr. and Josh Groban. 

Sous le ciel de Paris that tempts us to waltz was sang by such greatness like Edith Piaf, Mireille Matthieu or Yves Montand. Now the voice of the 71 years old Spanich tenor and the 31 years old american baritone harmonizes incredibly way and sounds wonderfully in this French song. They created a sensational, fascinating duet similarly to their former Italian duet, La tua Semplicitá from Domingo's former album what was written from the poems of late Pope John Paul II.
