Vége a versenynek, de természetesen most sem múlt el anélkül, hogy ne lennének eltérőek a vélemények, ne támadnának valakit, jelen pillanatban a győztes osztrákot, a szakállas nőként aposztrofált Conchita Wurst-ot. Sokak ellenérzését váltotta ki, és azt mondják, csak azért nyert, mert .... mert ő más. Meglehet.
A dal jó. Igényes, és, ami nagyon fontos, van mondanivalója. Az előadó hangja pedig nagyszerű. Nyert volna a dal, ha Thomas Neuwirth adja elő, férfiruhában? Nem tudom, de valószínűleg nem, mert úgy nem lett volna olyan ütős. A Rise of a Phoenix volt a legjobb dal a mezőnyben? Nem tudom. Egy a biztos: Európa ezt a dalt szerette a legjobban. Ezt az előadást. Ami nem azt jelenti, hogy a másságra buzdít, hanem a toleranciára. És ez a fontos, ez a lényeg.
Személy szerint természetesen jobban örültem volna, ha a mi fiunk, Kállay-Saunders András nyer, hiszen az ő nagyszerű dala talán még fontosabb dologra hívja fel a figyelmet: a családon belüli erőszakra, a gyerekek védelmére. Az 5. helyet hozta el András, ami a magyar versenyzők közül eddig a mások legjobb helyezés! És ez fantasztikus!
Az élmezőnyből szerettem még a svéd és a holland dalt. És Svájc versenydalát, ami sajnos csak a 13. lett.
Jó verseny volt, igényes, és kevésbé igényes dalokkal. Jövőre Európa Bécsben találkozik :)

The contest's over. And, of course, there are so many opinions and counter-opinions. Many of them are against the Austrian winner, the "bearded woman" Conchita Wurst. They say, he won just because he's been ... well ... different. Maybe.
His song is fine. Demanding, and most importantly, meaningful. The voice of its performer is great. Did the song win if the singer was a man, Thomas Neuwirth wearing a dress of a man? I don't know, but probably not, because it wouldn't have been that smashing. Was the Rise of the Phoenix the best song of the contest? I don't know. But Europe surely liked this song and/or perfomance the best. Europe doesn't encourages difference, but tolerance. This is important, that is the point.
Personally I would have been happier if our son, András Kállay-Saunders won, since his wonderful song drew attantion to an even more important thing: domestic violence, child protection. András got the 5th place, which was the second best result of Hungary in the history of the Eurovision! It's fantastic!
I liked the Swedish and the Dutch song among the bests. And the Swiss song, although it got just the 13th place.
It was a good contest with demanding and less demanding songs. Next year Europe'll meet in Vienna :)
